This item is a beautiful handmade Shaker wall clock in a style reminiscent of clocks made by Isaac N Youngs, in the 1840's at the Hancock Shaker Village. The clock measures 41 1/2 inches tall, 14 3/4 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches deep, and is made from vintage longleaf heart pine boards over 200 years old. This is not a "KIT" clock, it is entirely hand built here in our wood working shop from plans. Painstakingly made by a craftsman who has never made two clocks exactly alike. The case is well constructed and has rail and stile construction of the doors, and is designed to hang on the wall, or can be sat on a shelf or mantle. See the photos. The high quality German 8 day clock movement strikes on the hour and half hour, on 3 chime rods, and has a lovely Bim Bam strike. The dial is very simular to the origional 1840's clock. A key is included. I can also make this clock for you in walnut or cherry, and several different type clock movements.
