This item for sale, is a copy of the famous and collectable, 7UP neon, motion advertising clock of the 1940�s � 1950�s that has the �Spinner Ring� inside the clock glass. This gives a optical illusion that the slots in the clock face are in motion. The outside ring appears to turn clock wise, the inside ring appears to turn counter clockwise. This is hard to explain if you have never seen one of these clocks, but it looks great! This is a beautiful, and well made electric clock that is illuminated from the front by a green NEON tube. The neon has a separate pull chain switch that can be used to turn the neon on, or off, without affecting the operation of the clock.
The clock has a 20 inch polished aluminum bezel, and weighs 15 pounds. This is not a cheap, plastic, quartz, lightweight clock!! Replacement neon tubes, transformers, switches, etc are available.

This design is one of the more collectable clocks from the 1940�s and 1950�s. This is a beautiful, new, and fully functional clock that will last for many years. The clock works are made by the same company that made the works for the original clocks, Synchron-Hansen. The works are made from brass, not plastic. The time set, and neon switch are on the side of the clock at the 5 o�clock position.
The original clocks have been running for over 50 years, I see no reason that this clock should not last just as long, and will surely increase in value.
