This item is a 18 piece Master Staking set for clocks.This staking set contains, 1 anvil, 16 punches and a wooden base. Of the 16 there are, 4 flat faced punches, 10 round faced punches, and 2 hole closing punches with spring loaded centers. The ends of the punches and the top of the anvil are polished. The anvil has 12 different size holes, is 1 3/4 inches in diameter at the base and is 2 inches in height. This tool has many uses in clock repair, some are, tighten loose wheels on the hubs, install hubs on arbors, in replacing lantern pinions, I also use to shift wheels so that the teeth will run in a unworn place on the pinion.
